Black Bear and Wildlife Viewing
|
|

|
Wilderness Eco-Touring is best in Knight
Inlet during the months of June and September!
Whales are migrating and most of the local bears are putting on
their either Pre or Post Hibernation feed bags. |
| Most wildlife viewing will be done by boat so it's
not unusual to get close enough to bears to take outstanding
pictures or video. Your experienced guide will ensure that
your safety will never be compromised, however. |

Black bear sows and cubs can be spotted and with
great care you may be able to see the cubs learning to hunt for
seafood.

| Black Tail Deer, Wolves, and even the elusive
Cougar (Mountain Lion) can be found along the shores of Knight
Inlet. Bring your digital camera or camcorder, and we'll
do our best to allow you great photo/video opportunities. |

Besides the ubiquitous Bald Eagle, there are
many other species of birds such as Great Blue Herons, Black
Capped Chickadees, Ravens, and even the occasional Hummingbird
can be seen.
